چکیده

DETERMINATION OF ULTRA-TRACE AMOUNTS OF COBALT BY ADSORPTIVE DIFFERENTIAL PULSE VOLTAMMETRY USING ACDA (2-AMINOCYCLOPENTENE- 1-DITHIOCARBOXYLIC ACID)

The present work describes a selective, rapid and sensitive method for the determination of cobalt using the adsorptive differential pulse voltammetry technique. The method is based on the accumulation of Co(II) complex with 2-aminocyclopentene-1-dithiocarboxylic acid on a hanging mercury drop electrode, followed by measurement of the current of the adsorbed complex. The effects of experimental...

Determination of Nicotinic Acid by Square Wave Voltammetry on a Carbon Paste Electrode: the Crucial Effect of Electrode Composition and Analytical Conditions

The foregone studies have shown that nicotinic acid cannot produce noticeable reductive signal at carbon-based electrodes without appropriate modification of the electrode. This is an obvious reason that mercury is known as the main electrode material for electro-reduction of nicotinic acid. In this study, it has been shown that it is possible to create a remarkable reduction signal for NA at a...

Electrochemical study of the fungicide acibenzolar-s-methyl and its voltammetric determination in environmental samples.

The electrochemical behavior of new generation fungicide acibenzolar-s-methyl (S-methyl 1,2,3-benzothiadiazole-7-carbothioate, ASM) on the hanging mercury drop electrode (HMDE) was investigated using square wave adsorptive stripping voltammetry. This method of determination is based on the irreversible reduction of ASM at the HMDE. The well-defined ASM peak was observed at -0.4 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) ...

Differential pulse and square-wave cathodic stripping voltammetry of xanthine and xanthosine at a mercury electrode.

The surface activity of xanthine (Xan) and xanthosine (Xano) at a hanging mercury drop electrode (HMDE) was studied using out-of-phase ac and cyclic dc voltammetry. The results show that Xan and Xano were strongly adsorbed and chemically interacted with the charged mercury surface, which is the prerequisite step for applying the cathodic adsorptive stripping voltammetric determination of such b...

Square wave voltammetric determination of valproic acid in pharmaceutical Preparations

The electrochemical behavior of valproic acid (VAL) was investigated using square wave voltammetry, cyclic voltammetry, and sampled direct current polarography and a new square wave voltammetric method was developed for determination of VAL in pharmaceutical preparations. VAL showed two reduction peaks at about –0.2 V and –0.8 V vs. Ag/AgCl 3 M KCl with a hanging mercury drop electrode in 0.05 ...
